5th Annual Small Business Week Awards Luncheon

The Carolina Small Business Development Fund and the U.S. Small Business Administration North Carolina District Office invite you to honor small businesses and their contribution to the state’s economy! Small business owners, entrepreneurs and community organizations from across the state are invited to attend the fifth annual Small Business Week Awards luncheon. The day will kick off with workshops from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by the awards luncheon featuring keynote speaker, Governor Roy Cooper.
- Capital Access Strategies for Small Business: As companies grow the strategies for acquiring capital changes. Learn strategies to acquire capital as seed or start-up company. Then as the company matures learn about the strategies for growth capital.
- Veteran Business Resource Panel: For veterans looking to start or grow your business learn from a panel of resource partners and fellow veterans. Topics include financing available for veterans, entrepreneurial training programs and veteran business associations.
- Latino Business Resource Panel (In Spanish): Learn about resources available to start or grow your business. Topics include acquiring capital, establishing banking relationships, reducing risk with business insurance and tax strategies.
- Brand Strategy for Small Businesses: This interactive brand strategy workshop will help participants to learn how to develop their organization’s positioning and articulate their vision for the future.
Entrepreneurs and small business owners will be awarded for their efforts and impact in the state of North Carolina. There will be music, speakers, video presentations, and more.
