PlayMaker is a fast-growing Software-as-a-Service company with CRM and market intelligence technology for customers in the healthcare sector. The Tennessee-headquartered startup has been growing the team at its Raleigh office over the past few months, and is on the hunt for two mobile (iOS) developers, a quality assurance technician, a product manager and a software developer. This Durham energy efficiency startup has a cloud-based web application that tracks and analyzes appliance usage by location. The data provides simple recommendations on ways for restaurants, retailers and others to reduce energy on a daily basis and, ultimately, save money on energy bills. Spreedly moved into a new office in downtown Durham last year after increasing its headcount to 30 employees and growing its 100+ customer base. There, it’s cultivating a flexible and convenient company culture. Four summer internships are currently up for grabs, spanning the areas of customer support, data science, design and marketing. This Durham startup has developed an alternative treatment regimen for children with ADHD and other learning disabilities. NeuroPlus is a brain-controlled video game platform kids can play to improve their focus and self-control. The product is marketed to families looking for solutions to the difficulties their kids face with ADHD diagnoses, and NeuroPlus needs a digital marketing growth hacker and an inside sales representative to help reach those families directly or through influencers like clinicians and teachers. This Internet of Things startup packs the latest in smart technology into a single system to assist older adults and individuals living with disabilities. With growing revenue, a plan to expand further in Raleigh with an $8 million Series A investment from Intel Capital closed last fall, the company is seeking new employees in engineering, operations and finance. The 2016 Inc. 5000 enterprise SaaS company in Durham is looking to add two new employees to its sales team—an inside sales manager to grow ProcessMaker’s eight-person inside sales and lead development rep team, as well as a lead solutions architect to work with the sales team on tasks such as determining customer business objectives and demonstrating how the software’s functionality can lead to positive business outcomes. After landing $700,000 from a group of Triangle investors to bring its event-discovery app to new cities last year, Raleigh-based Offline Media kicked off 2017 with a strategic and financial partnership with nationwide newspaper owner McClatchy to boost sales, audience and innovation efforts.
